Deutsche Messe and Fiera Milano launch TPA ITALIA, the new Power Transmission and Automation trade fair

Deutsche Messe and Fiera Milano have expanded their partnership to launch TPA ITALIA, a professional exhibition dedicated to hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmissions and drive technology. The show will make its debut in May 2014 at fieramilano (Rho).

The two trade fair companies have been partners since 2008 in the HM Global joint venture, which was created to develop exhibition activities together in the biggest markets outside Europe. Now, for the first time, this alliance has been extended to the organization of a technical event in Europe. TPA ITALIA brings together the international leadership acquired by Hannover with MDA, the biennial motion, drive and automation show held as part of Hannover Messe, and the experience acquired by Fiera Milano with Fluidtrans Compomac and Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control.

TPA ITALIA, which will boast a completely new format and take place every two years, is an unprecedented initiative also because Deutsche Messe has never taken a Hannover Messe show to another EU country.   

“With MDA in Hannover and PTC ASIA in Shanghai we organise the two biggest and most important motion, drive and automation trade fairs in the world. TPA ITALIA will be able to count on the endorsement and support of major Italian trade associations such as ASSOFLUID and ASSIOT. The exhibition will be completed and enriched with a programme of fringe events designed to encourage knowledge sharing.
